GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing leadership, support, and direction for the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA). Walden University is an accredited institution committed to quality higher education, positive social change, and broad access through distance learning. We offer degrees at a distance in education, management and technology, health sciences, social and behavioral sciences, business administration and information systems. This position is located at Walden's administrative headquarters in Minneapolis
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advise OIRA on data collection, analysis, and reporting to aid regional or specialized accreditations.
- Provide analysis and reporting of institutional data in support of regulatory efforts.
- Provide ongoing support to programs for the academic program review process.
- Provide leadership in meeting the goals of the Office of Institutional Research & Assessment
- Manage tasks related to the directives of the Office of Institutional Research & Assessment
- Develop proposals for new initiatives
- Promote the Office of Institutional Research & Assessment through working with other leaders on collaborative tasks
- May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Doctoral degree with at least three years of experience in higher education required
- Administrative experience preferred
- Experience with regional or specialized accreditation preferred
- Experience with higher education institutional research preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Management skills (team-building, collaboration, organization, leadership, etc.)
- Computer skills required
